The new 4.0-Litre, 32-valve V8 petrol engine produces 542 bhp and a torque of 568 lb.ft. It also features dual twin-scroll turbochargers located inside the “V” of the engine, this brings about the top speed of 198 mph.
The coupe can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, while the convertible accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 Seconds.
The performance from both V8 models is complemented by refined efficiency, stemming partly from the ability of the engine to de-activate four of its eight cylinders in suitable conditions, without compromising the drive. This operation takes 20 milliseconds and it imperceptible to customers.
Bentley also added a Stop-Start technology that operates at “near-to-stop” speeds.
