The Mercedes-Benz GLB code named X247, is a compact luxury crossover SUV produced by Mercedes-Benz. The production of the SUV started in July 2019 ahead of the 2020 model year. It was unveiled on 10 June 2019 in Park Utah. The model debuted as a concept car at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2019. We will be writing on the price of Mercedes-Benz GLB in Nigeria.
The Mercedes-Benz sits between the GLA and the larger GLC in size. Mercedes-Benz GLB features an optional third-row seating configuration. The model shares the same front-wheel drive MFA platform as the A-Class and HZ247 GLA, but the wheelbase is 10 cm longer.

Engines and powertrain
At the launch of the SUV in 2019, the model debuted with two petrol and two diesel engines. All the engines are mated to an automatic transmission, while 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system is either available or standard with the 2.0-liter engines, only.
In 2020, the GLB 35 debuted with a 2.0-liter petrol engine which was tuned by AMG to produce 225 kW of power and 400 N.m of torque.
Mercedes-Benz GLB is available with 4-cylinder petrol engines and diesel engines only, while the plug-in hybrid and a fully electric version, called EQB, was unveiled in April 2021.

In the cabin, the model features a widescreen cockpit and the latest version of the MBUX interface.
