The new portal has lots of advantages over the manual method. Though there are disadvantages too the advantages outweigh this.

Advantages of the Central Motor Registry Information System (CMRIS)

The new portal has voluminous advantages, they include:

  • Vehicle owners can register their vehicles from the comfort of their homes without the need of visiting any registration center.
  • Owners will only pay the required amount specified by the Government.
