Lamborghini delivers 7,430 cars and six new product launch in 2020

  2020 was a challenging year for every creature. Automobili Lamborghini closed the year with the delivery of 7,430 cars worldwide. This is a 9 percent decrease compared to the previous year. Bentley had an increase in car sales in 2020.

 The slight decrease is attributed to the 70-day production shutdown in the spring, in compliance with Italian government directives and to protect the health workers during the first emergency phase.

  The United States was confirmed as the top market with 2,224 cars, followed by Germany 607 cars, Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau 604 cars, Japan 600 cars, United Kingdom 517 cars, and Italy 347 cars.   South Korea and Germany are the two countries with the highest growth.

 Lamborghini also launched six new products. In January, the company launched the Huracan EVO Rear-Wheel Drive [RWD].

In May, Lamborghini was the first automotive brand to make use of augmented reality for the debut of the Huracan EVO RWD Spyder. This was the open-air version of the rear-wheel-drive V10 model.

  The first electric car known as Sian Roadster also debuted in 2020.

  The Essenza SCV12, a track-only hypercar in a limited edition of 40 was engineered and designed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Lamborghini Centro Stile.

 The Huracan STO- Super Trofeo Omologata inspired by Huracan Super Trofeo EVO and GT3 EVO racing cars was unveiled.

 At the end of the year, Lamborghini unveiled the SC20, a unique specimen of open-top track car type approved for road use was developed and unveiled.

  The company had a very good year, the impact of the virus was deeply felt but they fought and won.
