Biography
Odumodu Blvck whose full names are Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu was born to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Ojogwu on October 18, 1993. He is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and brand influencer. The 30-year rapper has a unique rapping style which makes him stand out from the crowd.
He is Igbo by tribe, he hails from Enugu State, Nigeria. Odumodu Blvck was born in Lagos into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Ojogwu, a Christian family. The rapper is the only child of his mother, he has 6 siblings – 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
In his early years, he had his nursery and primary school in Lagos State before his family relocated to Abuja. After his secondary school education at Kings College Gwagwalada, Abuja, he got admission to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) to study Mass Communications.
He currently resides in Abuja. In an interview, he made it clear that his reason for choosing Abuja over Lagos is the fact that Lagos has so many singers and rappers, thereby bringing about huge competition is too much.
Career
Odumodublvck love for music can be dated back to his early days in school, back then he went by the name T-Flows. In 2016, he kick-started his music career in full when he followed his brother Agunna to the studio. A year after, he dropped his first track, and ever since he has been dropping nice jams back to back.
Fast forward to 2022, he released a joint studio album titled “The Drop” with B.O.C Madaki. A few months later, he collaborated with Zlatan and Ecko Miles to release the single titled “Picanto”.
He received massive international recognition in 2023 after releasing the song “Declan Rice”. The song was inspired by the captain and midfielder of West Ham United. Arsenal unveiled their newly signed player, Declan Rice with his hit song “Declan Rice”. The English football club shared a short clip of the ceremony with the popular music on their Twitter handle. After the unveiling, the music pitched the number one spot on Apple Music Top 100. Odumodu in an interview in March 2023 revealed that he has developed a friendship with the footballer.
