Since 2003, Bentley Continental GT has been in production. It is produced and marketed by British automaker Bentley motors. The Continental GT is the first car to be released after the acquisition of the Volkswagen AG management. In today’s quick review, I will enlighten you on the price of Bentley Continental in Nigeria.
The first Bentley Continental made its first appearance at the 2003 Geneva Motors show. It was later shown at the Le Mans, the 2003 Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the 2003 Bentley Drivers Club meeting that was held at Silverstone. Most of the car is hand-assembled, however, this didn’t limit the production of the car because the company produces significantly large numbers yearly.
It is equipped with a 6.0 liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine which can produce a power output of 552 bhp and a torque of 650 N.m. Since its inception, the permanent four-wheel drive is standard. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4.8 seconds.

The Continental design remained the same until 2011 although they were so many special editions produced.

Second Generation Bentley Continental
The second-generation Bentley Continental debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. The second generation looks like its predecessor. The only difference was the minor upgrades on the exterior. The standard second generation was equipped with a twin-twin turbo 4-litre V8 engine that produces 500 hp and a torque of 600 N.m.
One of the biggest upgrades was the Cylinder deactivation technology that can deactivate half of the cylinders when they are not in use to improve fuel economy by up to 8%.
Other special models include
- Continental GTC W12 that debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Its production continued to 2018.
- Continental GT Speed Coupe from 2012 – 2018: this edition featured Continental GT W12 that was tuned to produce 616 hp and a torque of 800 N.m. The suspension of this car was upgraded and this gives way for the lower ride. It can attain 60 mph from rest in 4.0 seconds.
- Bentley Continental GTC V8 [2012 – 2018]
- Continental GTZ 2012
- Continental GT Speed Convertible [2013 – 2018], etc.
All other special models were still based on the same platform with similar design and minor engine tuning to increase performance.

Third-generation Bentley Continental GT.
Bentley Continental is in its third generation. A press release was made by the company on 29 August 2017 ahead of its launch. It made its physical appearance when it was unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The base price 156,700 Euros, its production began in 2018.
It can accelerate from 0 – 60 mph in under 3.6 seconds and it’s capable attaining a top speed of 333 km/h. The car was designed by John Paul Gregory and Darren Day.
