Like I mention earlier, the 2021 GLS 600 SUV comes with a 4.0L V8 Biturbo engine that’s fitted with EQ Boost for maximum performance. The engine produces 550 hp at 6,000 – 6,500 rpm and maximum torque of 538 lb-ft at 2,500 – 5,000 rpm. Its compression ratio is 10.5:1.
The engine is constructed with a diecast alloy block and heads and it has a fuel capacity of 23.8 gallons. It makes use of premium unleaded gasoline.
Coming to fuel economy, on the highway, its fuel economy is 19 mpg while in the city, its fuel economy is pegged at 15 mpg.
Aside from its speed, it’s also good for trucking, it comes with a towing capacity of 7,700 lbs.
Drivetrain
The 4.0L V8 Biturbo engine is mated with a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission for optimum performance.
It comes with a 4Matic fully variable all-wheel-drive configuration.

The 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 comes with an overall length of 204.9 inches with an overall height of 72.4 inches, that quite impressive. Occupants will enjoy a spacious interior. Its wheelbase is 123.4 inches while its drag coefficient is 0.37.

The front and rear wheels are made of 22 inches Maybach multispoke alloy wheels, while the tires measure 285/45R22 for the front and 325/40R22 for the rear. Maybach chose these tires and wheels to match the power and overall performance of the luxury SUV.

Mercedes-Benz User Experience, voice control with natural language, “Hey Mercedes” keyword activation, and a 12.3-inches touchscreen multi-display are standard across the 2021 GLS 600.
