Internal combustion engine
A new M TwinPower Turbo V8 engine under the hood joins forces with the 48V technology to deliver 625 hp of power and 750 Nm of torque. For the 2023 model year, the 4.4-liter unit now features a reinforced crankshaft drive, further developed turbocharging, a new air intake duct, and an optimized oil supply system and oil separation process. The curved display is standard on the 2023 X6 M Competition to offer a modern and exclusive feel. The new curved display consists of a 12.3-inch information display behind the steering wheel and a control display with a screen diagonal of 14.9 inches, with a single glass surface incorporating both. The number of buttons and controls has reduced drastically with the new touchscreen control display which enables digital control of numerous functions.
Other new interior features include the broad interior trim strip in Fineline Black fine wood with a high-gloss metal effect, the ambient light bar with effective backlighting, and the addition of an M logo to its graphic, plus the M leather steering wheel with its new carbon gearshift paddles.
