The Toyota Sienna has been equipped with a new exterior color option, innovative technology, and advanced safety features for the 2026 model year. An eight-speaker sound system is now standard on the entry LE grade to improve the occupants’ listening experience. The grade also received a power rear liftgate with jam protection, windshield de-icer, black roof rails, and a 1-year Remote Connect trial subscription. For the 2026 model year, the XLE and XSE also received a variety of standard equipment, including outer mirror turn signals and roof rails. Additionally, the Sporty SXE grade also received a JBL Premium Audio system consisting of 12 speakers, a subwoofer, and an amplifier.

Hybrid powertrain

All grades are powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain paired to an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT). The Woodland Edition and Platinum grades come standard with AWD, while other grades are available in a choice of FWD or AWD.

The hybrid powertrain produces a combined power output of 245 horsepower. The FWD models have a manufacturer-estimated 36 combined MPG fuel economy, while the AWD models have 35 combined MPG.

Four drive modes, including EV, NORMAL, ECO, and SPORT, tailored to suit every need, are standard across grades. The NORMAL Mode is ideal for everyday driving; SPORT mode improves acceleration response; ECO mode extracts maximum mileage from the fuel and battery; and EV mode allows electric-only driving at low speeds for short distances.

Interior design and infotainment on the 2026 Toyota Sienna

For the 2026 model year, the cabin of the 2026 Toyota Sienna is equipped with a variety of packages for added comfort and convenience. FridgeBox and vacuum are standard on the Platinum trim and available on the Limited grade, and an available 12.3-inch touchscreen equipped with the latest Toyota Audio Multimedia system.

The upgrade spanned across all grades, offering improved comfort to occupants. On the dash of the Platinum and Limited grades is a center console with a simulated woodgrain finish. The XSE and Woodland Edition’s center console has a gloss black serrated finish, and the XLE and LE have an anodized dark gray-colored paint. The Woodland Edition model has grade-exclusive all-weather floor and rear cargo mats that are ready to take on muddy boots, and the mats feature a stamped pine tree silhouette pattern for a touch of the great outdoors.

A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster is standard on the XSE, Woodland Edition, Limited, and Platinum grades. Toyota also added a Qi wireless smartphone charger as standard for the front seat occupants. All grades also come with dual microphones for increased call clarity and USB-C charging throughout the cabin and a USB-A port in the dash.

Like we mentioned earlier, the new Sienna received a new interior color option – Heavy Metal for the 2026 model year. Other interior color options include Cement, Ice Cap, Midnight Black Metallic, Cypress, and Blueprint. The Ruby Flare Pearl and Wind Chill Pearl are available at an extra cost. Sadly, the Magnetic Gray and Celestial Silver colors will no longer be available.

Entertainment system on the 2026 Toyota Sienna

All grades are equipped with the latest Toyota Audio Multimedia system. The entry LE grade comes standard with an 8-inch touchscreen, while the XLE, XSE, Woodland Edition, Limited, and Platinum grades are equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen display as standard. Users can interact with the system through intuitive touch- and voice activated commands. Drivers and passengers have access to Intelligent Assistant, Cloud Navigation, and Destination Assist, thanks to the one-year Drive Connect trial subscription available on all grades.

With the Intelligent Assistant, customers can awaken the car with simple phrases like “Hey Toyota”, as well as search for directions, adjust audio controls, change cabin temperature, and more. Customers also get the available Cloud Navigation system, which delivers the latest map. Additionally, the new Sienna can also download Over-the-Air (OTA) updates for a smooth experience.

All grades also come with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as standard for improved connectivity in the cabin. Additionally, the MPV also comes with an available Wi-Fi Connect and includes a one-month trial.

All grades come with up to a 5-year subscription to Toyota Safety Connect, which includes Emergency Assistance Button, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, and Stolen Vehicle Locator.
