The exterior of the all-new electric 2026 Toyota C-HR+ is inspired by the gasoline-powered grades. It’s built on Toyota’s dedicated e-TNGA battery electric vehicle philosophy and offers a unique exterior and interior.

At first glance, the front three-quarter view gives the Toyota BEV vibes, while the wide stance conveys the dynamic associated with the C-HR lineup. All the new electric grades come exclusively with new front bumper, grille, and headlight designs, coupled with an aero-efficient sleek, coupe-crossover silhouette. The coupe roofline is achieved without compromising headroom for rear seat passengers.

The rear offers a wide stance and sophisticated full-LED rear combination lights. Also available is a steep angle at the rear window and neatly integrated spoiler, further adding more emphasis to the dynamic appearance.

Power and performance

The all-new all-electric 2026 Toyota C-HR+ is offered in two different battery options, including a 57.7 kWh and a higher 77 kWh battery. All-Wheel Drive grades are equipped with the smaller 57.7 kWh unit, while the 77 kWh battery is available for both front and all-wheel drive powertrains.

According to WLTP, the maximum of the SUV is pegged at 600km, depending on grade and powertrain. This model is the most powerful model in Toyota’s European line-up.

The top of the range AWD version delivers 343 DIN hp/ 252 kWh, this enabling 0 – 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. The front wheel drive model with a lesser 57.7 kWh battery offers 167 DIN hp/ 123 Kw. Customers who desire more power and torque opt for the 77 kWh unit because upgrading to it adds a whopping 224 DIN hp/ 165 kW.

The AWD option offers enhanced grip and traction and helps harness the extra torque and power needed to overcome any task.

A new battery pre-conditioning feature has been added to the luxury SUV for improved charging performance in most conditions. This feature can be operated automatically and manually.

Standard across all grades is an 11 kW onboard charger, with a 22 kW unit provided from High Grade. Customers can also achieve charging speeds of up to 150 kW when they use the Fast DC charging.

Top notch driving experience

The all-electric 2026 C-HR+ debuted with tuned suspension parts, including spring and damper performance and the stiffness of the anti-roll bars for an unmatched comfort in the cabin. For swift responsiveness, all grades are equipped with electric power steering.

Customers will also benefit from the increased body rigidity and lower centre of gravity when compared with the gasoline powered grades, thereby bringing about a more agile handling.

Safety and connectivity

All grades come with the latest technologies for comprehensive safety and onboard connectivity. The extensive Toyota T-Mate features, including the Toyota Safety Sense active safety and driver assistance suite, are standard on the model.

Variety of standard features are provided, including Blind Spot Monitor, Adaptive High-beam System headlights, and Parking Support Brake. High grade specification adds Park Assist and a Panoramic View Monitor.

The navigation on the model includes a dedicated EV routing function that calculates routes with convenient charging station options, according to the car’s state of battery charge, and available driving range.

With MyToyota app, owners can monitor and manage key aspects of their vehicle, including charging status, charging time, driving range and usage data.

Warranty and guarantee

All grades come with original EV Manufacturing Warranty until 8 years of vehicle age or 160,000 kilometers and with the Battery Care Program up to 10 years of vehicle age or 1 million kilometers driven.

Release date

The launch of the model is slated for late 2025, with full rollout starting in 2026.
