Processor and operating system
The device runs on a superfast MediaTek Dimensity 1080 6nm processor and Android 12 OS for smooth use and transition between apps. The processor is one of the fastest processors in the market right now, it provides increased speed in performance as well as saving the device’s battery.

Redmi Note 12 Pro + comes with UFS2.2 8GB plus 256GB internal storage to cater to all your storage needs. SD card slot is not available on the device.

Display
The device features a 6.67-inch FHD + AMOLED display with 2400 by 1080 pixels and up to 900 nits peak brightness. Premium display protection is offered by the Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 protection and it supports up to 120Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming and scrolling. The display also supports Dolby Vision®.
Camera
At the rear, the device features a triple camera setup, which includes a 200MP wide camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The rear camera configuration records 4K videos at 30 fps, 1080p at 30/60 fps, and 720p at 30 fps. In slow motion, it records 1080p at 120fps and 720p at 120, 240, and 960fps.
A single 16MP front camera is available on the Redmi Note 12 Pro +. It records 1080p videos at 30 and 60fps, while 720p is recorded at 30fps. In slow motion, it records 720p at 120fps.
Battery and charging
Redmi equipped the device with a powerful non-removable 5000 mAh battery. The battery can last the whole day, and charging is never a problem with its 120W HypeCharge. The company added the 120W charger in the box, unlike Apple which doesn’t add a charger.
Cooling system and security
With a VC cooling area of 3000mm², Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G cools down even faster. The significant temperature control brings out sustainable high performance.
Security and authentication are fast and smooth on the device with the side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as AI Face Unlock.
