Exterior design of the new 2025 Acura MDX
For the 2025 model year, all Acura MDX feature a new, more aggressive front fascia and open-frame diamond pentagon grille with redesigned diamond pattern grille mesh. Acura’s signature four JewelEye LED headlight elements and “Chicane” LED daytime running lights are standard also.
Customers who desire a more sportier SUV can opt for the MDX A-SPEC which offers a more aggressive front fascia shared with the MDX Type S. The more powerful MDX Type S stands out from the rest with a new frameless Diamond Pentagon grille with an exclusive rear diffuser, large quad exhaust outlets, red Brembo 4-piston front brake calipers, and a redesigned open-surface mesh. This new mesh provides airflow to its high-performance turbocharged V6 engine. 21-inch split wheels with machined finished standard on the grade for improved ground grip.
Acura also expanded the 2025 Acura MDX color palette by adding two new color options: the all-new Canyon River Blue Metallic and Urban Gray Pearl.
New premium trims for the 2025 model year
A new MDX A-SPEC has been added to the lineup for the 2025 model year. The new MDX A-SPEC comes standard with Advance Package, which combines a sporty appearance with additional premium features such as 16-way power seats, heated outboard second-row seats, a Head-Up Display (HUD), and a Surround View Camera system. All MDX A-SPEC and MDX Type S come standard with curvilinear-quilted leather and massaging front seats.
The top-of-the-range MDX Type S comes standard with the previously optional Advanced Package, which further enhances the high-performance variant with premium features including a Head-Up Display, 16-way power front seats, soft-touch Milano leather, 9-way massaging front seats, second-row heated seats, heated steering wheel and Surround View Camera.

Both bespoke Acura audio system features Bang & Olufsen’s latest 3D Sound Control, as well as the brand’s exclusive Beosonic™ feature and proprietary Acoustic Lens Technology. The interior design of the MDX is further enhanced by the brushed aluminum speaker grilles laser etched with the Bang & Olufsen logos.
Serene cabin
