What’s new for the 2026 model year?
For the 2025 model, Lexus added a new Inspiration Series package that’s limited to 200 units for the coupe and 350 units for the Convertible grade. The package adds a variety of features, making it stand out from the rest in terms of performance, handling, luxury, and comfort.
Lexus also discontinued the Hybrid version of this grade- the LC 500h. Customers are left to choose between the coupe and the convertible grades, powered by naturally aspirated V8 engines.
Exterior design of the 2026 Lexus LC 500
The exterior of the new LC 500 coupe and convertible is striking. The coupe grade is characterized by a unique mesh grille spreading across the front of the car. A floating appearance is created by a large glass panel and blacked-out rear pillars. On the edges of the coupe are chrome-plated mouldings echoing the lines of a Japanese sword.

Customers also get a unique light signature at night, making it stand out from the crowd. At the front is a triple projector LED headlamp, while the rear features custom taillamps inspired by the glow of a jet’s afterburners.

Eight exterior color options, including Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0, Caviar, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium, Ultra White, Infrared, Smoke Matte Gray, and Nori Green Pearl, are available for the 2026 model year.
The crop top on the Convertible
The new 2026 Lexus LC 500 Convertible comes standard with a soft top design that allows the car to save huge trunk and cabin space that comes with the heavier, bulkier hard top. Four soft top finishes are available, including Black, Sand, two colors exclusive to Bespoke Build—Red and Blue—and a Brown and Silver combination that is exclusive to the Inspiration Series package.
Just like its predecessor, the roof can be opened or closed at speeds up to 31 mph. The driver can view the progress as well as provide warning messages to confirm the status of the soft top on the large multi-information display.
The cabin
The cabin of the new 2026 Lexus LC offers improved functionality, comfort, sporting intent, and luxury. Lexus strategically designs the cockpit to offer the driver a commanding view of the road by adopting a low instrument panel position, hood line, and narrow pillars.

All grades are equipped with a 12.3-inch high-definition touchscreen, Intuitive Parking, and Panoramic View Monitor as standard. The Panoramic View Monitor combines images from the front, rear, left, and right side cameras of the vehicle and displays them on the center display.

Lexus equipped the model with a custom steering wheel that allows for variation of grip and twisting of the wrist. The cabin is finished with quality materials and details reflecting the Takumi craftsmanship and attention to detail. This can be felt in the hand stitching of the leather-wrapped gearshift lever and Alcantara door panel trim.
A range of leather-trim interior color schemes for the LC includes Black, Toasted Caramel, and Rioja Red.
Available customization (Inspiration Series)
Customers who desire more customization can opt for the Inspiration Series for an additional $1,900, limited to 200 units for the coupe and 350 units for the convertible. This package adds a carbon fiber roof and 21-inch Matte Black forged alloy wheels, Smoke Matte Gray exterior paint, sport seats complemented by white and black interior treatment throughout the cabin, and blacked out exterior elements including the grille, headlight, taillight, rocker garnish, and outside mirrors.
In addition to that, customers also get a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, a Mark Levinson sound system, special door scuff plates, front bumper canards, a carbon fiber rear fixed spoiler, red brake calipers, Active Rear Steering, and a unique badge on the center console.
Engine, transmission, and performance
Both grades are powered by a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, delivering 471 hp and 398 lb-ft of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 10-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission controlled via magnesium paddle shifters. The sporty LC 500 attains 60 mph from 0 in just 4.4 seconds on the coupe and 4.6 seconds on the Convertible grade, with a manufacturer’s estimated 24 mpg rating on the highway.

An available sports package adds numerous performance elements, including a Torsen limited-slip rear differential with a performance damper, performance brake pads, and Alcantara-trimmed seats.
Connectivity and Lexus Interface
The new 2026 Lexus LC 500s are equipped with Lexus Interface, offering drivers the opportunity to access a wide range of enhanced connectivity and convenience features, including Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
Customers can interact with the system through intuitive touch and voice activation controls. An Active Connect with a three-year trial gives drivers and passengers access to the Intelligent Assistant.
An available Cloud Navigation solution downloads the latest available map, traffic, and routing information for real-time navigation without hassle.
All grades also come with Lexus Interface, which allows for Bluetooth phone connectivity, with support for standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Wi-Fi Connect is also standard, with up to a 3 GB/month trial with 4G availability for up to five devices.
The Safety Connect system is available on the model.
