The powerful, yet fuel-efficient hybrid system
All grades of the 2026 Toyota Camry are equipped with the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS) with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine that delivers 225 net combined horsepower on the FWD models and 232 net horsepower on the AWD models.

The new 2026 Camry also comes standard with an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (eCVT) that intelligently finds the right gear ratio to pair with throttle input from the driver for improved performance.
Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive
For the 2026 model year, all grades come with an available Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) for added peace of mind. The AWD system offers precise on-demand front-rear torque distribution following driving conditions to help support start-off acceleration, handling, and stability in all driving conditions. Standard across grades is an optimally tuned MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension system.
