Tecno has unveiled its second generation V Fold, which is equipped with advanced AI features that bring more efficiency to customers. The device is equipped with a 6.42-inch outer display and a large 7.82-inch LTPO display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a powerful and long-lasting 5750 mAh Aircell battery, 70W charging, and a crystal clear five-camera system. New AI feature on the foldable device
Tecno equipped the second generation V Fold with a Gemini-integrated Ella AI Assistant, an assistant that can also be found on the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G. The AI assistant offers online search capabilities and Smart Q&A to give intelligent answers based on real-time information, responding to questions fluently. It also optimizes more than 400 system functions, from setting wallpapers to switching the system language. Other features include translation in person or over the phone, and AI Writing functions, such as text summary, text generation, proofreading, and rewriting capabilities.
Customers can also use the AI tool to edit photos, thanks to the Magic AI. This feature lets users easily extract subjects and perform high-quality edits for simplified photo editing.
Display
Two displays are available on the device including a 6.42-inch outer display and a 7.85-inch display, both featuring 120 Hz refresh rate. Viewing pleasure is elevated by a 21:9 aspect ratio, the 1500Hz touch samples ensure supreme reactivity, while the 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming reduces eye fatigue.
Tecno equipped the device with a 2K+ resolution AMOLED display and two-finger 360Hz touch sampling making high-frequency touch scenarios for improved gaming.
Battery and charging
At the rear of the all-new Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 5G is a 5750mAh Aircell battery. The battery supports TikTok viewing for up to 9.22 hours and Facebook scrolling for up to 19.03 hours. Also standard is a dual-channel fast charging technology that can keep charging the device even when one circuit encounters an issue, the other can continue to function.
The device supports 70W Ultra Charge which allows it to charge up to 50% in less than 20 minutes and 100% in 50 minutes. It also supports 15W fast wireless charging for customers who don’t like moving around with cables.
The new V Pen
Just like the S Pen on the Samsung S24 Ultra, the second-generation V Fold offers customers an option to purchase the all-new stylus for seamless daily tasks.
