Volvo is known for its safety, the company invests so much in the safety of their cars. On average, it crashes at least one brand new Volvo a day. It has been instrumental in pressing Volvo Cars position as a leader in automotive safety to this very day.
At the opening by Swedish King in the year 2000, the Volvo Cars Safety Centre crash lab was one of the most advanced crash labs in the world, and in many ways, it’s still today.
The lab is fully equipped with state of the art car crash testing systems.
