A three-crossframe is used on the LX 700h to accommodate the weight and extended length. Underneath the platform has also been modified to make space for the large hybrid main battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"LX_700h_powertrain\"><\/span><strong>LX 700h powertrain<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The hybrid variant of the Lexus LX is powered by a combination of a turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine and electric motors delivering a combined power output of 457 horsepower and torque of 583 lb-ft. Power generated by the hybrid system is sent to the wheels by a 10-speed Direct Shift Automatic Transmission, the same transmission as on the LX 600. Fuel economy has also been greatly increased to 20 MPG.
