Toyota unveils all-electric SUV concept known as bZ4X

Toyota has unveiled its all-electric SUV concept. The company plans to expand around 70 electrified models globally by 2025.

It’s no longer news that automotive manufacturers are moving with the speed of light towards the use of renewable energy. A few days ago, I review the all-new 2022 Mercedes Benz EQS and the Lucid Air EV, today Toyota is unveiling its electric vehicle concept.

The company plans to electrify 70 of its model by 2025. It would be recalled that Bentley motors have also unveiled plans to produce 50 percent electric cars by 2025 while Mercedes Benz is planning to move over to full electric vehicle production by 2035.

The Toyota bZ4X Concept joins a full lineup of electric vehicles, a lineup that accounts for 40% of all alternative powertrain vehicles sold in the U.S. These alternative powertrains include battery-electric, hydrogen fuel cell electric, hybrids, and plug-in hybrids.

Toyota has also concluded plans to expand to around 70 electrified models globally by 2025. This feature will feature 15 dedicated BEV’s, including seven carrying bZ (Beyond Zero) brand moniker. In addition to that, Toyota also has the intention to bring electrification to its pickup truck lineup in the near future.

This diverse portfolio of electrified products will help propel Toyota toward its goal of carbon neutrality by 2050.
The 2022 Toyota bZ4X SUV concept features a long wheelbase with short overhangs, this brought about a distinctive design with ample interior space. The open concept interior is designed to enhance driver comfort and confidence on the road.
