Crown Uzama popularly known as Shallipopi hails from Benin City, Edo state Nigeria. He started his career at a young age, making freestyles, and posting them on TikTok and other social media platforms. His hustle paid off with the release of his single “Elon Musk”.
Apple Music announced Shallipopi as the company’s latest featured artist in its Up Next artiste development program in Nigeria on 20 June 2023. 7 days later, he released the remix of Elon Musk, the remix featured Fireboy DML and Zlatan.
Shallipopi released another single titled “Ex-Convict” on 7th July 2023. The single debuted at Number 1 and 6 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top 100 and TurnTable charts respective Top 100.
