What’s new for the 2025 model year?
The Toyota Corolla lineup is receiving a sporty FX Special Edition that delivers unmatched performance and comfort. A new 10.5-inch multimedia display is also available on the SE grade and standard on the FX special edition and the XSE grade. The model also received upgrades to the Qi wireless charger, Blind Spot Monitor, and a power-tilting sliding moonroof.
Powertrain
All gasoline engine models are powered by a powerful, yet fuel-efficient 2.0-L, Dynamic Force 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine that delivers 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. The engine offers an impressive EPA-estimated fuel consumption of 32 city/ 41 highway/ 35 combined MPG on the LE grade.

Platform
The new 2025 Toyota Corolla shares the same TNGA-C platform as its predecessor. The platform offers high rigidity, low center of gravity, and highly refined tuning of the MacPherson-tyre strut front suspension and available multi-link rear suspension.

In the cabin, the platform minimized the powertrain and road noise, thanks to the use of sound-absorbing materials, including Thinsulate® insulation, sealants, foams, and silencer pads. In addition to that, seals in its body panel gaps are employed to help insulate noise penetration and enhance air sealing performance.

Every grade of the 2025 Toyota Corolla received a touch. The entry LE grade features a horizontal front grill with slits and vertical gradation for a more refined look. The roof, badging, mirror caps, and taillamps also feature black accents.

Standard across all grades is the 8-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system, while the all-new 10.5-inch Audio Multimedia screen upgrade is available on the SE and standard on the new FX and XSE.

Both systems allow dual Bluetooth phone connectivity. A 30-day/ 3GB Wi-Fi Connect trial offering 4G connectivity for up to five devices is available on all grades.
All grades are equipped with Corolla’s audio system comprising six speakers as standard for an immersive listening experience. A JBL Premium Audio with nine speakers, subwoofers, and an 80-watt amplifier is available on the top of the XSE grade as an option.

Additionally, a Driver Connect trial or subscription is available to aid the drivers in interacting with the Toyota Audio Multimedia system via touch or voice activation.
