The new IS 350
For the 2026 model year, the IS 350 is available in two grades: F SPORT Design and F SPORT. Lexus further polished this grade to offer an engaging driving experience.
Exterior design of the 2026 Lexus IS
Lexus redesigned the exterior of the new 2026 Lexus IS from the ground up, adding a new front design that accentuates the sedan’s low center of gravity and wide stance. At the rear of the F SPORT grade is a new rear spoiler, designed to offer improved aerodynamic performance, along with red brake calipers. A redesigned 19-inch lightweight aluminum wheel is standard on the F SPORT and F SPORT Design grade.
Seven exterior color options are available on the 2026 IS, including Ultra White, Iridium, Cloudburst Gray, Caviar, Infrared, Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0, and Wind.
The cabin
The cabin of the new 2026 Lexus IS wasn’t left out in the redesign. A larger 12.3-inch interface is now standard across all grades to offer excellent visibility and intuitive operation. The driver also gets a larger TFT (thin-film transistor LCD (liquid crystal display) digital instrument cluster for clear and easy-to-read graphics that communicate information directly and intuitively.
All grades also received the newly developed “Forged Bamboo” ornamentation that adds dynamic energy and enhances the sporty feel of the cabin. A new “Radiant Red” interior color option inspired by the vivid glow of solar flares has also been added.
For an immersive listening experience, all grades are equipped with a 10-speaker Lexus Premium Sound system as standard. Customers who need a more immersive and emotional listening experience can opt for the available 17-speaker Mark Levinson system.
The front passenger and the driver can charge their devices using the two high-output USB (Type-C) ports at the front of the center console. Rear seat passengers also get two USB (Type-C) charging ports located at the rear console. Additionally, a wireless charging pad using the latest Gen5 technology is strategically placed at the front of the center console for ease of use.
Drivetrains and powertrains
Customers can choose from an option of either a rear-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive system. All 2026 Lexus IS are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 311 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of peak torque. Power generated by the engine is sent to the rear wheel drive system by an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift Automatic transmission, while the AWD grade is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The 0 – 60 times and EPA estimated MPG figures are not yet available; we will update you once they drop.
Lexus engineers optimized the Electric Power Steering (EPS) and suspension systems to offer a consistent steering feel.
Safety and driver assistance systems
All 2026 Lexus IS models come standard with the latest Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite, offering key active safety and convenience features to the vehicle. The safety suite comprises Automatic High Beams, Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection, Full Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), and Lane Tracing Assist (LTA). Others include Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA), Road Sign Assist (RSA), and Proactive Driving Assist (PDA).
