Let’s start with a brief history of Rolls Royce Phantom.
Rolls Royce Phantom is manufactured by Roll-Royce Motor Cars. The plant is known as the Goodwood plant and it’s located in Chichester, West Sussex, England. The Rolls Royce Phantom VII is a full-sized luxury saloon car and it was launched in 2003. This is the first Rolls-Royce was developed after BMW purchased the right to use the Rolls-Royce name and logo in 1998.
Rolls Royce Phantom was designed by two people. Marek Djordjevic designed the exterior of this luxurious car while Charles Coldham designed the exterior.

The present series of Rolls-Royce Phantom was launched in 2005. They are known as Phantom Extended wheelbase. The series was presented in March 2005 at the Geneva Motor Show. It comes with a 250mm [9.8 inches] wheelbase, which is longer than the standard Phantom. This particular version is known as EWD.
In 2007, the Phantom Drophead Coupe was unveiled at the 2007 North American International AutoShow. This particular version is a 2-door convertible version. It will be recalled that the design of Drophead was previewed by the 100EX design study. This design study was revealed at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show.
Production commenced in June 2007.

This is the armored version of the Rolls-Royce Phantom with a VR7 level ballistic rating. This includes fiber composites and special purpose body armor, thickened glass sheets in glazed areas, polycarbonate layer, strengthened aluminum spaceframe chassis, and suspension components.
This was produced to provide adequate security while still retaining its luxury looks because the Rolls-Royce Phantom is mostly used by the elite class.
Rolls-Royce Phantom coupe was produced between 2008 – 2017.
