Platform
The 2026 Toyota Corolla is built on the TNGA-C platform like its predecessor. A super-rigid structure, low center of gravity, and highly refined tuning of the MacPherson strut front suspension and available multi-link rear suspension, offering top-notch handling, ride comfort, and a distinctive driving personality.
Engine, performance, and transmission
All grades are equipped with a 2.0-litre Dynamic Force 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine producing 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque. All gasoline models are mated to a Dynamic Shift continuously variable transmission as standard.
