The Toyota Granvia was released on 21 May 2019 and sold in Taiwan and Australia. Granvia is a more luxurious passenger version of Hiace, it comes with luxury seats, comfortable seating configuration, a luxury exterior, a 3.5L V6 engine for increased power output, and a range of Toyota Safety systems for increased safety in the cabin. For the 2023 model year, Toyota added new safety systems for improved safety as well as a few exterior and interior upgrades to give it that luxury look. The 3.5L V6 engine which produces 270 hp at 6000 rpm is still standard on the premium grade.

Engine, power, and performance
For the 2023 model year, the Granvia Premium retained the 24V 3.5L V6 petrol engine which produces 270 hp at 6000 rpm and torque of 37.2 kg-m at 4500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission for smooth transmission of power to the wheels.
The luxury passenger Hiace comes with a fuel tank capacity of 65 Liters. For improved comfort in the cabin, Toyota adopted the McPherson Strut Suspension for the front and 4-Link Coil Spring Suspension System for the rear.
Dimensions, seating options, and doors
The Granvia measures 1,970 mm in length, 1,990 mm in height, and 5,300 mm in length with an overall weight of 3,240 kg. It is a five-door luxury van with a seating capacity of seven.
Tires and wheels
Standard on the premium grade is the 17-inch alloy wheel which is fitted to 235/60R17 tires for improved ground grip and performance.
Exterior design
For the 2023 model year, Toyota finished the door handle and the radiator grille in chrome. Standard exterior features include a high-mounted stop lamp, auto headlamps, and a central door lock.
Interior design
Standard on the premium grade is the leather seat with a seat heater. The 4-spoke steering wheel is finished in leather and wood, with a manual steering tilt and telescopic column. Other standard interior features include power windows, ergonomic headrest, central door locking, Electric Power Steering (EPS), Electronic Recline & Footrest, second and third rows with two captain seats, individual USB charging points, reading lights, and AC vents.
