In the 15th century, if you see someone wearing a watch, you will know that the watch might be for timing, luxury, and some other analog operations. In the 21st century, following the invention of smart devices, so many smartwatches have been designed. Most of these smartwatches can perform sophisticated operations that your big smartphone can’t perform. In today’s review, I will be enlightening you on the price of Apple smartwatches in Nigeria, both UK used and brand new.

As mentioned earlier, we are living a smart life in the 21^st century following the invention of smartwatches, smart toilets, self-driving cars, smart TVs, etc. Everything on the planet is now smart. Apple is a brand known worldwide for its luxury, security, and durability. They took a major step in 2015 when they started the production of Apple Smartwatch. We are concentrating on the price of the brand new and the UK used Apple smartwatches in Nigeria. Apple’s main goal for developing the smartwatch was to free people from looking at their phones. Kelvin Lynch was hired by Apple to produce a wearable technology.

At a press conference held in September 2014, the smartwatch was unveiled alongside the iPhone 6 by Tim Cook. It all started with a video focusing on the design process, cooked reappeared on stage wearing an Apple watch after the video.

Apple didn’t brand it as iWatch due to so many reasons which include the fact that iWatch is a trademarked owned by so many brands such as OMG Electronics and Irish firm Probendi. Apple was sued to court in July 2015 by Probendi for trademark infringement.

Apple smartwatches have seen 6 generations ever since its first production in 2015. Pre-orders began on April 10, 2015, with the official release on April 24. The watch was not available in Apple retail outlets until June 4 when they announced that they will start stocking its retail outlets. The reason for this was to reduce long line-ups in their retail outlets due to high demand.

Other additional new features include a more energy-efficient S5 processor, improved ambient light sensor, doubling of the storage to 32gb, and the last but not the least is the addition of a magnetometer that enables a compass function. It comes in two colors namely natural and space black.
