What’s new in the iPhone 15 Pro Max?
At first glance, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is similar to the 14 Pro Max but they are not actually the same. The exterior features aerospace-grade titanium which makes the model the lightest Pro model ever produced by the company, new contoured edges, and a customizable Action Button which allows users to personalize their iPhone experience. Display and design
The iPhone 15 Pro Max features a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with Always-On and ProMotion technologies for an exceptional viewing experience. The triple camera setup at the rear offers the equivalent of seven pro lenses, thanks to the new A17 Pro chip. The era of lightning cable is over with the introduction of the USB-C connection on the iPhone 15 lineup. Users can also charge AirPods or Apple Watch directly from their iPhone with the USB-C connector. Data transfer speeds of the USB 3 can reach up to 10 gigabits per second, which is 20 times faster than its predecessor.
All models feature the second generation Ultra Wideband chip which enables two iPhone devices with this chip to connect 3 times faster. With this, Find My Device is way easier and more accurate.
The device also supports Wi-Fi 6E for greater wireless performance. It also supports super-fast 5G connectivity.
Customers can either charge their device with the USB-C connector or use either MagSafe or Qi wireless charging.

In the US, only units with eSIM will be available, other regions will have the option of either physical SIM or eSIM.
Storage and RAM
All iPhone 15 Pro Max comes standard with 8GB of RAM and an option of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage. It does not support expandable storage.
Safety features in the iPhone 15 Pro Max
In case of emergency, the device can assist when it matters most, including Crash Detection and Emergency SOS via satellite. This feature is not available in Nigeria at the moment.

With the Always-On display of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, StandBy stays on to show useful information — perfect on a desk, nightstand, or kitchen counter.
- Interactive widgets on the Home Screen, Lock Screen, and in StandBy allow users to take action with just a tap, making it easy to complete a to-do or play or pause a song right from the widget.
- Safari adds greater protection for Private Browsing and introduces profiles, helping users separate their browsing for topics like work and personal.
