Engine, power and transmission
The all new Geely Azkarra debuted with a turbo charged EU6 GDI engine that is co developed by Volvo. It produces 174 hp at 5,500 rpm and maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1,500 – 4,000 rpm. It can attain 100 km/h from rest in just 10.5 seconds.
For maximum performance, the engine is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission triptronic transmission. This new transmission is selected to transfer power to the wheels with little or no lose in power generated from the engine.
Safety systems
As an engineer, we always put safety first, same way Geely Motors added so many premium safety systems to the new Azkarra. The safety systems include Dual front airbags, Anti-lock braking system (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist System (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Cruise Control + speed limiter, Hill Descend Control (HDC), and Rear Packing Assist system with rear camera.
The interior
The interior features a smartphone Mirror link, Steering Audio Control with Bluetooth, 7 inch high definition colored digital cluster with trip and driving information.
The seats are made of brown Italian Nappa material to last long as well as give the occupants comfort. Geely Azkarrra features the largest infotainment panel in its segment with its 12.3 inch HD color display.
Other features include Chrome & Leather finishing on Dashboard, Front USB Ports (x2) + Rear USB Ports (x2), Front & Rear LED Lamps, Front Cupholders, Front Sunvisors, Trunk Covering Shelf, Front Seat Back Pockets, and Electronic Gear Shifter (Selector).

For your maximum comfort, the Azkarra debuted with Dual Zone Digital Automatic Air Conditioner with rear AC vents and touch screen controls. Other features include telescoping steering wheel, four power windows, electric adjustable mirrors, Tire Pressure Mounting System (T.P.M.S), 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, front and rear adjustable headrests, 60:40 split folding seats, and windscreen shade.
