This review will revolve around the specifications, release date, and price of the 2021 Mercedes Benz E-Class in Nigeria.
E-CLASS interior
The 2021 E-Class entertainment system is a new progressive and modern 12.3-ich dual widescreen display and a completely newly developed steering wheel with capacitive sensor technology and hands-off detection that eases the operation of semi-autonomous driving when equipped with available driver assistance systems.
Aside from the infotainment system, the upholstery, trim, paint, and wheel options were not left out in the redesign.
With the addition of the new Mercedes Benz User Experience Infotainment system, the cabin experience for both the driver and passengers is now on another level. MBUX achieves this by incorporating a powerful computer, brilliant screens and graphics, a customizable display, learning-capable software, and voice control with natural language recognition.
Other sophisticated features of the MBUX are the available full-color Heads-up display, Augmented video for navigation, and MBUX Interior Assitant features.
New features in the 2021 E-Class
The 2021 E-Class is debuting with the latest generation of Mercedes Benz driver assistance systems providing cooperative support, now featuring Exit Warning Assist, enhanced protection when getting out the car, extended restart functionality in stop and go traffic, restarting the vehicle automatically up to one minute after coming to a stop, and End-of-Traffic-Jam Assist, which works in tandem with live traffic to recognize and respond to traffic jams and slow-moving traffic even before the driver becomes aware of them. The 2021 E-Class is fully loaded. Your safety is assured.
Engine and power train
Trims such as the Mercedes Benz E 450 and E 450 4MATIC models come with a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine with an integrated starter generator [ISG], EQ Boost, and a 48-volt onboard electrical system, this always results in improved performance and efficiency.
The normal engine is capable of producing 362 hp when it’s electrically boosted, it can produce up to an additional 21 hp and a torque of 184 lb-ft.
Additional luxury features have been added redesigned E-Class Cabriolet. They include an all-season open-top driving and comfort for four with standard sun-reflecting leather, AIRCAP wind deflector, and AIRSCARF neck-level heating.
I have good news for USA customers, the new E-Class All-Terrain is available for the first time in the U.S market. It boasts a rugged exterior design inspired by its off-road aesthetic with its raised height, black body cladding, radiator grille, and a stylized skid plate that sports a mirror chrome finish.
2021 Mercedes-AMG E 63
Mercedes-AMG E 63 S and Wagon now features a striking new design, improved aerodynamics, and increased comfort. The front section was not left out in the redesign, it now features a larger central air-cooling inlet, while also newly incorporating the distinctive AMG-specific radiator grille, with vertical slats and a larger central star.
With the new all-LED headlamps, nothing is hidden, aside from the brightness, the beauty it adds is awesome.
E 63 being an AMG variant comes with an AMG 4.0liter V8 bi-turbo engine that produces 603 hp and a torque of 627 lb-ft.
The interior is thoroughly enhanced with the new Widescreen Cockpit, AMG Performance steering wheel, and MBUX infotainment system with AMG-specific functions and displays.
All 2021 AMG E-Class models also now come standard with a surround-view camera and AMG Drive Unit Steering Wheel Buttons (previously standard only on E 63 S).
2021 Mercedes Benz E-Class release date
All the Mercedes Benz and Mercedes-AMG E-Class models will go on sale in the U.S by late 2020.
