Meet the 100-year-old Bugatti Type 30

The 100-year-old Bugatti Type 30 was unveiled in 1922, it was the first Bugatti production automobile with an eight-cylinder engine. The car debuted with an eight-cylinder engine, a displacement of two liters, 100 PS and speeds up to 145km/h.

The eight-cylinder engine consists of two four-cylinder blocks, housing the overhead camshaft, and a monobloc crankcase that is firmly attached to the frame.

Bugatti sold around 600 units of Type 30 up until 1926 when it was replaced by Type 38. Ettore Bugatti got so much positive feedback from customers.
