The popular instant messaging app will stop working on some smartphones from November 1. This means that some smartphones will no longer be able to receive and install new Whatsapp updates from this date. The messaging company shared a list of iOS and Android devices that the app will not work on and I will be dropping a comprehensive list of smartphones that Whatsapp will stop working on from November 1.
The affected devices will be those with an operating system equal to or lower than Android 4.0.3, while iPhones with running iOS 9 will also say bye to the app.

Will my Whatsapp stop working automatically on November 1?
No, it won’t stop working that way. You will not be able to receive updates, which means you cant update your Whatsapp again after November 1.
iPhone users don’t panic, there is a way around it.
For iOS users, you don’t have to panic, I know many of you have updated your iOS but if you haven’t done that, I will advise you to do it now to avoid disconnection.
What should I do? I have one of these smartphones.
My kind advice to you is to change to a new device that will support the app if you still need it or you can switch to Telegram, Facebook, etc.
How can I move my Whatsapp Account to a new device?
Back up your Whatsapp data on an external memory device such as an SD card and move it to the new device, then install your Whatsapp and click on backup and everything will be moved to the new device.
