Tecno Camon 20 Pro was unveiled in May 2023 along with the Camon 20, 20 Pro 5G, and 20 Premier 5G. The device is a mid-range smartphone that’s packed with amazing features such as the 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 X 2400 pixels, a long-lasting 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, triple rear camera setup, 8GB of RAM plus an 8GB extended RAM, among other features we will be listing as we progress in this review. We will be writing about the full specifications and price of the Tecno Camon 20 Pro in Nigeria.
Most people mistake the Camon 20 Pro for the Camon 20 Pro 5G and vice versa. It’s worth noting that the major difference between both devices is the fact that the Pro 5G supports 5G network connectivity while the normal 20 Pro doesn’t support 5G connectivity.

Display
Both Pro devices feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. Users can unlock the Camon 20 Pro with its on-screen fingerprint sensor. The new under-screen fingerprint sensor offers convenience, speed, an anti-counterfeit detection algorithm, and increased security, it unlocks in just 335ms with a Google BCR 13.
Operating system and processor
Tecno Camon 20 Pro runs on Android 13 based on HiOS 13. Processing in the device is taken care of by the MediaTek G99 Octa-core processor.
Camera
The front selfie camera setup features a 32MP lens with dual flash for taking pictures in low-light conditions. The front camera records 1080p videos at 30fps.
On the rear is the triple camera setup with consists of a 64MP RGBW 6P lens, a 2MP depth AI Cam, and an AI camera coupled with quad ring flash for taking brighter photos. If you need a midrange device with a better camera, I will suggest you go for the Camon 20 Premier 5G.
RAM and ROM
Tecno Camon 20 Pro features a 256GB of ROM to cater to all your storage needs and an 8GB of RAM coupled with an 8GB of extended to cater for the smooth running of the device.
Battery
All Camon 20 models come standard with a long-lasting Li-Po 5000 mAh non-removable battery which supports 33W fast charge and can last for a whole day on a single charge. Tecno adds a 33wW wired charger in the box for fast charging.
Network
Available networks on the device include GSM, GPRS, FULL EDGE, WCDMA, HSPA+, TDD LTE, and FDD LTE.
Sensors
Available sensors on the device include G-Sensor, Ambient Light and Distance Sensor, Electronic compass, Fingerprint Sensor, and Gyroscope.
Connectivity
The device supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. Tecno Camon 20 Pro doesn’t support 5G, if you need a device with 5G compatibility, you can opt for the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G.

The design
On the exterior is the new geometric aesthetics and avant-garde fashion design which creates a striking and unconventional pattern. The back is finished in lychee pattern leather used in luxury cars.
