MAZDA has unveiled its all-new 2026 EZ-60 electric SUV at Auto Shanghai 2025. This is the second electric vehicle developed and manufactured by Changhan Mazda through collaboration with Mazda and Changan Automobile. Sales of the new electric SUV are slated to commence in 2025. The design
The all-new all-electric 2026 Mazda EZ-60 features an elegant styling combined with modern forms that evoke a new lifestyle image. It also features air passageways at the tip of the hood and other points, creating a futuristic impression and contributing to excellent aerodynamic characteristics and improved power consumption efficiency at high speeds.
Performance
All grades are equipped with a 50:50 front/rear weight distribution, strut suspension at the front and multi-link suspension at the rear, and electronically controlled dampers. The electronically controlled dampers can respond to a variety of driving situations to provide Jinba-ittai driving- a sense of horse and rider as one.
Drive range of the all-new 2026 Mazda EZ-60
The BEV models come with a driving range of up to 600km, while the PHEV models come with a driving range of 1,000 km per refueling.
Safety and driver assistance systems
Safety wasn’t neglected when redesigning this luxury electric SUV. All grades are equipped with a variety of safety and driver assistance including the smart cabin. The smart cabin can be operated by voice, touch, or gesture. Similarly, the Intelligent Drive system, on the other hand, helps the driver avoid an accident or reduce damage, while the intelligent parking can be operated by voice even from outside.
Multimedia and infotainment system
A 26.45-inch 5K integrated flat panel center display and a virtual 3D heads-up display are standard across all grades. These large, high-definition displays project information on safety and security to the driver as well as the occupants, providing a futuristic driving experience.
A 23-speaker system and a 3D sound system deliver an immersive audio listening experience in the cabin. Speakers are also placed in the headrest, which allows the driver and front passenger to listen to different music.
Dimensions, tire size, drive train, and seating capacity
The new 2026 EZ-60 measures 4,850mm in length, 1,935mm in width, and height of 1,620mm, and can seat 5 people comfortably. All grades are equipped with 255/40R/21 tires, and these tires are fitted to 21-inch alloy wheels. All grades are also equipped with a rear-wheel drive system.
