Engine, transmission, and performance
The new 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ shares the same hand-crafted 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine as the AMG GT 63. For the Pro-grade, Mercedes AMG tuned the engine to produce an additional 26 horsepower, making a total of 603 horsepower. The torque numbers have also been increased by 37 lb-ft to 627 lb-ft for more powerful acceleration, especially at higher speeds. Power is delivered to the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive by an AMG SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9G transmission system.

The new coupe attains 124 mph from 0 in just 10.4 seconds, that’s 0.5 seconds faster than the AMG GT 63. Its top speed is electronically limited to 197 mph.
New expanded cooling package
The new AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ is equipped with both high and low-temperature cooling circuits to ensure optimal drivetrain temperatures. At the left and right front wheel arches are two radiators that increase cooling efficiency and ultimately enhance overall vehicle performance.

The front and rear differentials, along with the transfer case of the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable drive are now actively cooled by the top-mounted radiator. Mercedes AMG also equipped the coupe with electrically operated water pumps for more circulation of coolants in the system when needed.
New geometry of the air vanes and revised brake cover plates optimize airflow to the brakes, this increases durability and prevents excessive brake temperatures.
Improved aerodynamics
Mercedes AMG aerodynamics and driving specialists collaborated on fine-tuning the coupe’s aerodynamics to increase overall performance in terms of longitudinal and lateral dynamics. The unique front fascia has been equipped with additional carbon fiber air deflectors around the enlarged side air intakes, this does not offer only improved aerodynamics, but it adds an even more aggressive appearance.

The active aerodynamic profile in the underbody, AIRPANEL active air control system in the front fascia, and the AMG Aerodynamics Package with fixed rear wing are also fitted standard. For the 2025 model year, the aerodynamic lift on the front axle has been reduced by over 66 lbs for top-notch handling.

Mercedes AMG engineers also equipped the high-performance coupe with additional air deflectors on the underbody- similar to those on the Mercedes AMG ONE. These new fins accelerate the airflow on the underbody, this increases the downforce on the rear by approximately 33 lbs.
New braking system
The standard on the model is an AMG carbon ceramic high-performance composite brake system. This new system features six-piston fixed calipers at the front paired with 16.5-inch brake discs and single-piston floating calipers at the rear. Mercedes AMG designed the back of the carbon ceramic discs with lightweight, high-strength titanium, contributing to the brake system’s reduced unsprung mass.
Wheels and tires
Fitted as standard on the 2025 Mercedes AMG GT 63 PRO is the lightweight AMG Performance 21-inch Forged Split Spoke Wheels finished exclusively in Himalaya Grey Matte. These high-performance wheels sit in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires- 295/30 ZR 21 at the front and 305/30 ZR 21 at the rear. Customers who desire extreme can opt for the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R.

Motorsport-inspired exterior and interior design.
The new AMG GT 63 PRO is equipped with the AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package as standard. This package includes a front splitter, side sill trims, rear diffuser, and rear wing made from high-quality carbon fiber.
The cabin is equipped with black-painted brake calipers, AMG Performance seats with a high level of lateral support, and an AMG Performance steering wheel in Nappa leather/microfiber as standard.
