Engine, transmission, and performance
The new 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ shares the same hand-crafted 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine as the AMG GT 63. For the Pro-grade, Mercedes AMG tuned the engine to produce an additional 26 horsepower, making a total of 603 horsepower. The torque numbers have also been increased by 37 lb-ft to 627 lb-ft for more powerful acceleration, especially at higher speeds. Power is delivered to the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive by an AMG SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9G transmission system.
The new coupe attains 124 mph from 0 in just 10.4 seconds, that’s 0.5 seconds faster than the AMG GT 63. Its top speed is electronically limited to 197 mph.
New expanded cooling package
The new AMG GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ is equipped with both high and low-temperature cooling circuits to ensure optimal drivetrain temperatures. At the left and right front wheel arches are two radiators that increase cooling efficiency and ultimately enhance overall vehicle performance.
