Ever since the launch of the Toyota Corolla in 1966, Toyota has sold over 48,000,000 units worldwide in a sedan. Corolla is debuting with an SUV in 2021. The SUV variant for me looks cool. The new SUV is named Toyota Corolla Cross.
The model was launched in Thailand in June. Toyota in a statement made it known that the SUV will be launched in a growing number of other markets.
The sad part here is that I don’t see this SUV coming to Nigeria in 2021. Nigerians don’t import cars from Thailand, so I don’t think some of the units will ever find their way to the shores of Nigeria. Don’t worry, even if we don’t drive brand new, we will import the tokunbo in 2022.
