Biography
Rema was born on 1 May 2000 into a Christian family in Benin City. He started singing and rapping in his secondary school. He had his primary and secondary school education at Ighile Group of Schools, Edo State, Nigeria. He lost his father and elder brother, and Rema was left to look after his mother.

Rema started his journey into music in churches with Alpha P. In 2018. Rema posted a viral freestyle on Instagram to D’Prince’s track “Gucci Gang”.
