First-generation
The production of the first generation Bentley Flying Spur started in 2005 ahead of the 2006 model year and ended in 2013. It debuted with a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged Volkwagen W12 engine, but this engine was tuned to produce 552 bhp and a torque of 650 N.m at 1Be,600 – 6100 rpm. The drive train was based in the Torsen based permanent four-wheel drive. The first generation Flying Spur can accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, and the good news is that it can attain a top speed of 312 km/h.
It had two variants of transmission include a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission which was used from 2005 – 2013 and another ZF 6-speed automatic transmission that was used in Continental Flying Spur speed from 2008 to 2013.

Second generation [2013 – 2019]
The production of second-generation Flying Spur started in 2013 ahead of the 2014 model year. It made its first appearance at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. In this generation, the Continental prefix was dropped to make the model stand out from the 2-door Continental GT.
The second generation featured a complete makeover of its predecessor. It featured three variants of transmission which include a ZF 8-Speed automatic transmission with quick-shift, block shifting and wheel-mounted paddle-shift which was used in a Flying Spur w12 from 2013 – 2019, a ZF 8 speed automatic transmission with quick-shift, block shifting and wheel-mounted paddle-shift that was used in the V8 version from 2014 – 2019, and the ZF 8 speed automatic transmission with quick-shift, block shifting and wheel-mounted paddle shift which was used in the V8 S variant from 2016 – 2019.
The third generation [2019 – present]
The third-generation Bentley Flying Spur debuted in June 2019. The car is something else. It was out of expectation. The car is pure luxury. It can accompany 6 occupants comfortably. The cruise control is awesome and it has so many safe driving features.
What I find as the biggest new feature is the all-new touch screen remote. This can give the occupant over 70% control of several systems. It can accelerate from 0 -60 mph in under 3.7 seconds and it can attain a maximum speed of 207mph.
The second generation will replace the Bentley Mulsanne as the production will end in the second quarter of 2020 without any successor in sight. Although the statement is not official that my thought though.
