Toyota partners with Hino trucks to produce electric trucks

Electric trucks are in high demand in the North American market. Toyota Motor North America [TMCA] and Hino Trucks have combined to produce a Class 8 fuel cell electric truck [FCET] for the North American market.
In recent times, so many companies have produced so many cars that use electric power. Most companies like Tesla produces 100 percent cars while companies like Toyota are producing the hybrid car. Lamborghini broke its record in 2021 by producing its first Hybrid car known as Lamborghini Sian Hybrid.
The newly developed Hino XL Series chassis will make use of Toyota’s proven fuel cell technology to deliver exceptional capability without any harmful emissions.
This collaboration expands upon the existing effort to develop a 25-ton FCET for the Japanese market which was announced earlier this year.
When will the vehicle arrive?
The demonstration vehicle is expected to arrive in the first half of 2021.
