 Following the discontinuation of the Bentley Mulsanne in 2020 after decades of production, the Flying Spur is the new flagship. Aside from replacing the Mulsanne, it’s the only luxury sedan produced by the company. The luxury in the 2021 Flying Spur is mouth watery. It ranges from the unibody design, the Touch Screen Control [TSR], the overall exterior design, the extreme luxury interior among other notable features. 2021 Bentley Flying Spur Interior

  The all-new Bentley Flying Spur is debuting with a new configuration to include a four-seat semi-aniline leather, hand cross-stitching, veneered inserts for the rear doors, and electrically operated picnic tables. This new seating configuration is adopted to make the ultimate statement in design, comfort, and luxury. 

 One significant feature in the interior is the addition of a 5-inch touch screen remote that’s finished in polished and metal embellished with diamond Knurling. I always refer to the new touch screen remote as the power in your hands. With the new remote controller, the passenger is given full control over the air conditioning function for both sides. You can also control the fan speed, temperature, air distribution, and ionizers to enhance the air purity and the overall well being of the passenger.  On the rear armrest is a bright metal finisher and a 12v power socket, the armrest can be heated, with an option of a wireless charging point.

 A total of 11,000 handsewn stitches are made throughout the cabin to achieve a luxurious interior design. 

 The new picnic tables mounted on the rear of the front seats are electrically operated and they can be deployed with a single press of a button. You can return the table elegantly to its original position by holding down the button.

  A new steering wheel has been launched as standard with a revised shape and profile. The steering is designed to detect when it is being held, this is achieved by capacity sensing throughout the wheel rim. This new safety feature is a groundbreaking one, it will reduce the accident rate while cruising around in Flying Spur.

An option of two technical finishes in lieu of contemporary wood veneers is now available around the cabin of the Flying Spur. A high Gloss carbon fiber technical finish can be chosen. This will provide a seamless geometric surface, flowing around the cockpit from one door to the other.

  Bentley Flying Spur Exterior

 Three new options of exterior paints were introduced for the 2021 Bentley Flying Spur, they include Viridian, Patina, and Snow Quartz. The paints were carefully selected to stand out from the crowd. 

 The car comes with a Blackline edition. This edition replaces all the exterior bright chrome with gloss black versions.

 According to research carried out, over 75% of Continental GT customers select black wheels. Following this development, the company decided to introduce a gloss black wheel and a black-machine-and-finished version that gives the customers to match their wheels to their choice of bright ware. 

  The Flying Spur Engine and transmission

  The 2021 Bentley Flying Spur is debuting with a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged W12 engine that produces 626 hp at 6,000 Revolutions per minute.  It can attain 0 – 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.

The engine is paid with 8-speed automatic transmission.
