
The LC 500 model right from its inception offers extreme luxury combined with speed and power. for the 2023 model year, the luxury coupe builds on the 2022 LC 500 update to wheels, suspension, and vehicle stability control, the LC 500 and the LC 500h features an additional suspension enhancement which is based on Lexus Driving Signature philosophy. The coupes will hit the dealership in November 2022. We will be writing solely on the full specifications, released date, units to be produced, and price of 2023 Lexus LC 500 in Nigeria. Engine and powertrain

 Standard on the 2023 Lexus LC 500 is the 5.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine which produces 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of peak torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds and an EPA-estimated 25 mpg on the highway. The engine is mated to a 10-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission that can be controlled via magnesium paddle shifters.
Hybrid power
The LC 500h comes standard with an Atkinson-cycle 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine and two electric for improved power output, its combined output is rated at 354 horsepower. D-4S direct fuel injection is utilized by the engine for optimum efficiency while the lightweight valvetrain with Dual VVT-I ensures ample torque across the engine speed range. The power generated by the engine and the electric motor is sent to the wheels through the 4-speed automatic transmission.

The Multistage Hybrid System allows for more electric assist at lower vehicle speeds, and it also enables the LC500h to operate with the gasoline engine off at speed of up to 87 mph.
The 2023 Lexus LC 500 Convertible

For the 2023 model year, the LC 500 Convertible comes standard with 20-inch cast alloy wheels with the option to upgrade to 21-inch forged wheels. Lexus employed the use of run-flat tires at all corners to eliminate the need for a spare tire, which, in turn, allows the engineers to free up space, save additional weight, and shorten the rear overhand.

The convertible top
The roof can be opened or closed at speeds up to 31 mph. An animated display on the multi-information display shows the top’s progress and provides warning messages to confirm the status of the soft top roof. One of the most impressive aspects is the time it takes to open or close: approximately 15 seconds to open and approximately 16 seconds to close, depending upon environmental factors.

Multimedia systems in the 2023 Lexus LC 500
The standard multimedia system on the 2023 LC is the impressive 10.3-inch high-resolution split-screen multimedia display that provides immediate, simultaneous access to audio or climate controls and various systems.

Apple CarPlay, Alexa integration, and Android Auto compatibility are standard across all grades. These systems give users seamless integration between their smartphones and their car.

Advanced safety systems and driver support
Standard across all grades is the Lexus Safety System+ which consists of Lane Departure Alert with Lane Keep Assist. Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection is also standard, they consist of Frontal Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Pedestrian Detection.
All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is also included, as is Intelligent High Beam which will default to high-beam mode when the road ahead is clear but will temporarily switch to low beams when headlamps or taillamps are detected.
Also standard on all 2023 LC 500 and LC 500h is the Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic.
The exterior design
For the 2023 model year, the LC 500 embraces Lexus Driving Signature through the vehicle’s dynamic handling characteristics. The front and rear suspension settings have been optimized to enhance ground contact feel, linear steering response, and steering effectiveness in the high cornering G range. A sharper connection is created between the vehicle and the driver with the nimbler handling.

The luxury coupe comes with a unique mesh grille that spreads across the front of the car. It has a large glass panel and blacked-out rear pillars that creates a floating roof appearance. Chrome-plated moldings along the edges echo the lines of a traditional Japanese sword.
Lexus got the design inspiration for the taillamps from the glow of a jet’s afterburners, the ultra-compact, triple projector LED headlamps are not only striking, but they also are lighter and half the size of conventional headlamps.

Color options
Nine exterior colors are available for the 2023 model year, they include Caviar, Cloudburst Gray, Atomic Silver, Ultra White, Infrared, Nightfall Mica, Flare Yellow, Nori Green Pearl, and Cadmium Orange.
 The Cloudburst Gray and Ultra White are available for an additional $500 charge, the Infrared, Yellow, and Cadmium Orange is available for an additional charge of $595.
Available sport package
Sport package is available as an option on the 2023 LC 500. The Sport package features Torsen limited-slip rear differential with a Yamaha performance damper, performance brake pads, and Alcantara-trimmed seats.
The Sport package with glass roof adds 21-inch forged alloy wheels with a polished finish and Gloss Black accents.

The interior design of the 2023 LC 500 and 500h

On the front, a low instrument panel position, hood line, and narrow pillars give the driver a commanding view of the road. A sense of continuity is built through the flowing lines of the door panels which serve as an extension of the exterior that flows from the hood and through the windshield.
The steering wheel cross section changes around its circumference to allow for variations in grip and twisting of the wrist. The front passenger also has not been ignored; the side of the center console rises to form an integrated grab handle.

The quality finish of the upholstery, trim materials, and detailing reflect the Takumi craftsmanship and attention to detail for which Lexus is known. It can be seen and felt in the hand stitching of the leather-wrapped gearshift lever and the draping treatment of the Alcantara door panel trim, among numerous other details.

Three interior colors are available, they consist of Black leather, Toasted Caramel leather, and Circuit Red leather. All the colors are complimented with exposed Satin Metallic ornamentation.
